Note: The temperature in Toronto at the time of this incident, on July 9, 2013, was between 70-77 degrees, with 85-94% humidity (source). As documented here, leaving a dog in a vehicle, even with the windows partially open (allegedly one inch, from the first link below), could quickly prove deadly to a dog, in these conditions.
